Litigation and dispute resolution

Members of Temple Tax represent clients in the UK Tax Tribunals (First-tier and Upper Tribunal), English courts and the Court of Session (both on appeals from the Tax Tribunals and judicial review applications) and on matters of EU law before the European Court of Justice.  Since HMRC’s Litigation and Settlement Strategy was put in place there has been an increase in contentious disputes and dispute resolution including ADR, which has become a fundamental part of Temple Tax’s work these days.  The leading commentaries on Tribunal procedure (now in its 4th edition) is authored form within chambers:  Tax Appeals published by Claritax.
